A 65-year-old teacher from Germany has given birth to quadruplet aftera pregnancy that was crticized by medical professionals because of her age, RTL entertainment television reported Saturday. The television station which was given exclusive right to cover the activities related to the woman's birth says the three boys and a girl were born by cesarean section at a Berlin hospital Tuesday. A spokeswoman for RTL said the babies stood a strong chance of survival but pissible complications coudn't yet be ruled out because they were born in the 26th week of pregancy. Their mother was doing well, the spokeswoman said. The woman, Anneqret Raunigk, already has 13 children, lives in Berlin and is an English and Russian teacher, who is close to retirement.
